  1. Space Science Student Involvement Program (SSIP)

  3. The SSIP is an annual competition for students in grades 7-12
  4. sponsored by the National Science Teachers Association and NASA.
  5. The competition fosters student creativity in four categories
  6. including space station, zero gravity, and wind tunnel research
  7. and in journalism.  Student winners receive opportunities to visit
  8. NASA facilities and interact with NASA scientists and engineers.
